18 Day Istanbul, Gallipoli, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Fethiye, Blue Cruise, Olympos and Cappadocia Tour
DAY 1: Istanbul Upon Arrival at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, you will be greeted at the gate and transfered to your hotel. You will start out with a brief instruction and have the rest of the day to see Istanbul on your own.
DAY 2: Istanbul Starting after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and begin with a full days tour, starting with the Bosphorus cruise, Dolmabahce Palace, Asian side and Camlica Hill. Lunch will be served on the tour and end of the day with transfer back to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours and we will stay in Istanbul for the night.
DAY 3: Istanbul You will have breakfast at the hotel in the morning, and the day is yours to go out and explore Istanbul. On your own you can see St. Sophia, Topkapi palace, Blue Mosque, Cistern and the Grand Bazaar. The rest of the day is yours and we will stay in Istanbul for the night.
DAY 4: Gallipoli Early morning pick up from the hotel, to depart for Gallipoli. Full days tour of Dardanelles, Kabatepe War museum, Brighton Beach, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair. Lunch will be served on the tour, at the end of the day, we will cross the Dardanelles and be taken to your hotel, to take an overnight bus to Selcuk.
DAY 5: Selcuk Once you arrive in Selcuk, you will be transfered to your hotel. You will have the day free to relax, and we will remain in Selcuk for the night.
DAY 6: Ephesus tour After you have breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for a full days tour of the Ephesus Ruins, Temple of Artemis, the Hadrian, Celcius Library and House of the Virgin Mary. We will have lunch on the tour, and end the day with transfer to the hotel, where you pick up your luggage, and be transfered to the bus station to go to Pamukkale. When we arrive in Pamukkale, you will be transfered to your hotel and have the remainder of the night free.
DAY 7: Pamukkale After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the sight seeing area of Pamukkale on your own, it is just a 20 minute walk, and we do not recommend a tour. At the end of the day, you will return to the hotel, to be transfered to the bus station to go to Fethiye. When you arrive in Fethiye, you will be transfered to your hotel. The rest of the evening is yours.
DAY 8: Fethiye After breakfast at the hotel, the day is your to relax and enjoy the day away at one of the best beaches of Turkey, “The Blue Lagoon”, or explore the city. We will remain in Fethiye for the evening.
Day 9: Blue Cruise You will be picked up from your hotel and transfered to harbor in Fethiye. We will leave around noon to Samanlik Bay for where you will have a chance to swim and have lunch on the boat. Butterfly Valley is the next stop, here you will have a chance to swim and visit this natural prereserve, hosting more than a 130 differnt kind of different Butterflies and Moths. Afterwards we will cruise to Oludeniz, sea conditions permitting. An options for paragliding is available, check with Midday Travel for prices and availability prior to your tour. We will end the day, at St-Nicholas Island, where you can see the Byzantine ruins, swim, and we will have dinneron the boat. Included in tour, accommodation in a cabin with shower and toilet, snorkels & masks, fishing lines, all food while on the boat, not included, drinks and entrance fees.
Day 10: Blue Cruise We will depart for the Aquarium or Firnaz Bay near Kalkan for breakfast and a chance to do some swimming. Then on to Kas, where we stop in the harbour and have lunch, after lunch you can visit this charming fishing village of ancient Antiphellos. Only Lycian rock tombs & sarcophagi and the Roman theatre are all that remain, but the charm of the town is still felt, even to this day. In a bay near Kekova we will stop for some swimming and have dinner.
Day 11: Blue Cruise After breakfast, we will sail to the Sunken City of Kekova. Simena is a Turkish fishing village with no car access and a Byzantine/Ottoman Castle. In Gokkaya Bay, water activities are available. At the end of the day, we will have dinner, after that you can relax in this pirates haven, or party all night at the Smugglers Inn.
Day 12: Blue Cruise After breakfast, we will get to explore the Pirates Cave before cruising to Andriace harbour and have lunch. You will be go by bus to the archaeological site of Myra, and then to Demre to see the St-Nicholas Church. Bus transfer to all Tree houses in Olympos where we arrive between 4 and 6 p.m. Dinner at the Tree Houses and the remainder of the night is free for you to relax, and we will remain overnight in Olympos.
DAY 13: Olympos After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the day free in Olympos to relax the day away at the beach. At the end of the day, we will take an overnight bus to Cappadocia.
DAY 14: Cappadocia Once you arrive in Cappadocia, you will be transfered to your hotel. You will have the day free to relax, and we will remain in Goreme for the night.
DAY 15: North Cappadocia tour After breakfast, 9:30am pick up from hotel, and depart for full days tour of North Cappadocia, we will visit the Goreme open air museum, Devrent, Avanos , Pasabag, and the old village of Cavusin. We will have lunch on the tour and a professional english speaking guide will be provided for the day. At the end of the tour, you will be transfered back to your hotel, and the rest of the night is yours free to relax or explore.
DAY 16: South Cappadocia tour After breakfast at the hotel, there will be a 09:30 am pick up from the hotel and full days tour of Southern Cappadocia. We will visit Piegon valley, Underground city, Ihlara Canyon, Selime village, Caravansari and Yaprakhisar. We will have lunch on the tour around noon, a professional english speaking guide will be provided for the day. At the end of the day we will return to Goreme, where you will pick up your luggage from the hotel, and be transfered to the bus station for and overnight bus back to Istanbul. Once you arrive, you will be transfered to your hotel and remain overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 17: Istanbul You will be transfered to your hotel, and have the day free in Istanbul. This is a great day for any last minute shopping, or having lunch and wasting the day away at a seaside cafe. We will remain overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 18: Istanbul After breakfast, there will be transportation to the airport provided according your flight time, unless you decide to extend your time with us, by enjoying another one of our many tours.
